Isezaki Jun

伊勢崎淳

Isezaki Jun (1936- ) is the Living National Treasure of Japan. He resurrected traditional kiln called “Anagama” dug in a hillside in Bizen, famous for its unglazed stoneware. The beauty of his works is a combination of exquisite throwing and unexpected natural reactions during firing.
