Kato Sho

加藤釥

Kato Sho (1927-2001) was a Seto ceramicist who was born in a family of potters having 700 years of heritage. Having inherited technique and modern sense, he developed distinctiveness of gold glaze upon tradition. The bestowment of precious awards recertifies the significance of his works.
