Kusube Yaichi

楠部彌弌

Kusube Yaichi (1897-1984) was a legendary ceramist, and a master glazer adopted the Japanese style Art Nouveau and Art Deco. He formed a ceramist group called “Sekido” which advocated the change of ceramic works from nameless pottery to characteristic art. He awarded the Order of Culture.
