Kakurezaki Ryuichi

Kakurezaki Ryuichi (1950- ) is a celebrated contemporary ceramic artist. After a background as a graphic designer, he established his kiln in his middle 30s and has made a profound change in the style of Bizen. He exploits the physical properties of clay and how it interacts with the firing process.
